MYCAP Head Start Sites Earn Accreditation

MYCAP’s Lake Milton and Choffin Learning Center Head Start sites have earned accreditation from The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Accreditation validates that a program meets NAEYC's 10 standards of excellence in early childhood education. NAEYC accredited centers present a safe and healthy environment for children, have teachers who are well-trained, with access to excellent teaching materials, and who work with a curriculum that is appropriately challenging and developmentally sound.

NAEYC accredited programs are committed to continuous improvement in order to provide the highest quality educational experiences for children.
